It's day 12 of easy kids lunch ideas. Today's lunchbox idea is fun and kids love it. It's an easy twist on the traditional turkey and cheese sandwich. We are doing this Crescent Roll Turkey Sandwich Recipe. Now you can make this easy recipe with ham, but since my kids are turkey lovers, that's what we did.
Ingredients you need:
- Crescent Roll Pack
- Delicatessen meat – 2 slices per triangle
- Grated cheese
How to make the Turkey Crescent Roll Sandwich recipe:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Separate the crescent rolls into their triangles.
- Place 2 slices of deli meats on each triangle.
- Add grated cheese.
- Roll up, starting at the widest point.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes until the crescent rolls begin to brown.
Let cool a little and serve. We like to serve it with mustard and other sauces.
What I included in my lunch box:

Equipment you need for this lunch box:
We love these easy lunch boxes. We have used a cheaper version in the past, but have switched to the brand's easy lunch boxes. They do a much better job and last much longer. It's worth the few extra bucks for the brand.
I also love using the rectangular silicone cupcake molds to separate the food in the subsequent containers. They are great for storing treats and other items that you don't want to "touch" your other food. Do you have children who are also weird with the food they touch?
