- 450 g smoked fish fillets
- 2 sliced onions
- 1 cup frozen corn cob kernels
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 4 medium boiled mashed potatoes
- 1/2 Cup of tasty grated cheese to cover
- 50 g of butter
- 4 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons of curry powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Drain the fish in a saucepan and mash with a fork.
Slice the onion and microwave for about 2 minutes until soft, and place on top of the fish.
Add frozen peas and corn.
Add the sliced eggs followed by rice.
White sauce: Melt the butter, then combine the curry powder, lemon pepper, salt, and flour.
Gradually add milk.
Continue stirring as the sauce boils and thickens.
Pour sauce over cake and stir to combine with cake ingredients.
Spread the mashed potato over the mixture and top with grated cheese and / or breadcrumbs.
Bake for approximately 40 minutes at 180 ° C until heated and bubbly.
