Someone eats oatmeal in our house almost every morning. As a mother, I try to vary healthy agitation to encourage them to eat it. One of my favorites is this version of "Strawberries and Cream." (I like my thick and not so liquid oatmeal … as you can see in the photo!)

Grab a bowl and let's get to work!

Check out some things I found on the web this week:

I know soup is not really a "summer" meal, but I love soup! This summer vegetable soup at Cake Student seems like a wonderful way to use the bounty of your garden! Healthy and tasty: what more could you want?

I'm sure some of my regular readers have found that my family loves pizza … if you're new and you stay for a while, you'll notice! 😉 This Pad Thai Pizza by Lady Behind the Curtain combines the best of Pad Thai and pizza … the results, I am sure, are incredible! Make a note of this as another Friday night recipe to try!

My favorite, the "favorite" fish (ok, I made that word) is salmon. This Damn Delicious Sriracha Teriyaki Salmon with Cream Sauce sounds so tempting! Since I don't know how to say the word "s", I just call it "salsa de gallo". 🙂 This recipe sounds quick, easy and sure to please! I can't wait to try this one!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend. I think we are planning to enjoy the second Saturday: Here in North Carolina, there are tons of free things to do across the state during the summer on the second Saturday of the month.

Linked at these fun parties!
