I made this strawberry lemonade cake for cooking and it was gone in an instant. Everyone LOVED it and asked for the recipe. This is super simple to prepare when you have a craving. My oven literally takes longer to warm up than making this strawberry lemonade cake!
I used a hand mixer to mix the cake batter. Using a mixer will break the strawberries into the presentation of the cake. If you want larger pieces of strawberries on the cake, mix the cake batter by hand.
The cake can be made a day or two in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I just opened the lid on top of my Pyrex glass platter and you're done. Serve the cake with a little whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. So easy and delicious!

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9 × 13-inch skillet. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, cake filling, vanilla extract, eggs, and milk. Mix with an electric mixer until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold.
- Whisk together the pudding mixture, powdered sugar and milk in a large bowl with a whisk for 2 minutes.
- Add Cool Whip and frost cake.
