Every time we go to Jamba Juice, my kids order Strawberry Wild smoothie. This is my copycat version which is easy to make and will cost you a lot of money skipping the smoothie shop.

Making a smoothie that tastes delicious is one of my favorite ways to avoid the heat on a hot summer day. I whipped up this strawberry and banana smoothie and fell in love so I just had to share it. Strawberries are the perfect summer fruit and pair well with the flavor of bananas.

HOW TO MAKE A STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE?

This smoothie is made with a mix of strawberries, bananas, Greek yogurt, and juice. Once you have gathered your ingredients and measured them, toss them into the blender. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately and enjoy your summer day!

This recipe calls for frozen strawberries. You can freeze yours, but it's often easier to buy them already frozen. Be careful though, because some frozen strawberries come with added sugar, so be sure to check the ingredient list before buying.

You can turn this strawberry and banana smoothie with yogurt into a smoothie if you want. Simply substitute the juice for milk and the yogurt for strawberry ice cream. Her healthy little shake quickly turns into a sweet treat. Both are great for beating the summer heat.

Bananas are an excellent snack after training due to the high amount of magnesium they contain. They help build the lean muscle you're trying to achieve by exercising. Bananas also contain many vitamins.

Sometimes I like to mix my strawberry and banana smoothie adding an extra boost of nutrition. Some things I use are protein powder, flax seeds, chia seeds, vegetables, or more berries like raspberries. No matter how you personalize it, you will love this smoothie. I know I did it!
