Last summer I made my own homemade ketchup, which turned out so GOOD, I made it again this year… with a twist! I added some chipotle paste to give it some warmth that you can adjust to your liking. This goes so well with turkey burgers or grilled sweet potato fries!

Finally someone came with a chipotle paste in a tube, perfect as I never use the whole can. The brand is Olo, which I found on Amazon, but of course, canned chipotle sauce will work fine here, you need to chop the chipotle.

This is so EASY to make, just put a few ingredients in the sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. If you are planning to grill this weekend and you like things a little spicy, give it a try!

What is Chipotle?

A chipotle is a mature chili pepper originating in Mexico that is smoked and dried and painted. You can usually find this can as a sauce like chipotles in adobo or as a pasta. It's perfect when you want to add a warm smokey flavor to any dish.
