These Southwestern Smoked Turkey Wraps are a super quick and easy idea for lunch, snack, or even dinner. The wraps are perfect for the hot summer months, are great snacks, and can be easily made at home.
Southwestern Smoked Turkey Wrapper Recipe
During the summer months, our family likes to make hoagies and sandwiches for easy lunches and also dinners. I really don't like heating the house. I know I am full of punishment when I make a hot meal during the summer months. I usually have bunches of cold cuts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables on hand, as well as different breads in the bread bin. I also have many cans of tuna on hand to prepare our Tuna Sandwich with Panera Copycat bread because they are the favorites.
The whole family tends to be hungry at different times during the summer. I am a person who likes a very late dinner, usually around 8:30 or 9:00. I've never been so hungry before. Usually I can make some vegetables and everyone can eat when they are hungry. It works perfectly for us.
Making wraps at home saves a lot of money. There's no need to run away and spend a small fortune at the sandwich shop. Just grab some of your favorite turkeys and cheeses and whip up these Southwestern Turkey Wraps to enjoy. The sauce from the southwest makes a great combination with the turkey and does a bit of a kick. Fresh leaf lettuce crunches the wrapper. You can also add some tomatoes, but they are not necessary. This little wrapper will fill you up when looking to enjoy a late dinner or light lunch.
INGREDIENTSSauce:1/2 cup miracle whip (or mayonnaise) 1 teaspoon lime juice 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/2 teaspoon ground Chipotle Chile 1/4 teaspoon cuminWrap:Corn Tortillas Sliced Smoked Turkey Sliced Colby Pepper Jack Cheese Lettuce Leaf
ADDRESSESMix the ingredients for the sauce and place them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to marry. Microwave each tortilla for 10 seconds to prevent breakage as it rolls. Spread a thin layer of the sauce on the tortilla. Place 1 slice of turkey on tortilla. Top turkey with cheese slice. Top with lettuce and roll. Secure with toothpicks and cut them in half.

- Mix the ingredients for the sauce and put them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to marry.
- Microwave each tortilla for 10 seconds to prevent breakage while rolling.

- Place 1 slice of turkey on the tortilla.
- Top the turkey with a slice of cheese.
- Cover with lettuce and roll. Secure with toothpicks and cut them in half.
