In Monday's post "Game Day Preparation Made Easier," I touched on two game day snacks, a Southwestern vegetable sauce and my favorite spinach sauce. On Tuesday I shared the recipe for the spinach sauce (a modified version of the classic Knorr spinach sauce recipe), and today I bring you the recipe to make homemade southwest dive.
And with vegetables I mean that you can eat it with vegetables. You will not find vegetables in the sauce, that would be too healthy.
Now, this dip from the southwest had pretty kick so I've toned down the cayenne pepper in the printable recipe. Feel free to add more or less cayenne pepper to taste. If you want to cut down on the prep work on game day, do it the day before and chill overnight; the dip will taste even better on Super Bowl Sunday.
