Simple Carbonara Pasta

  • 500 g minced bacon slices
  • 600 ml thick cream
  • 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper * to taste
  • 500 g of pasta


  1. Fry the bacon in a large skillet and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Remove from the heat and add the cream and cheese.

  3. Return to low heat and stir until cheese is melted.

  4. Remove from the heat and add the egg yolks and stir.

  5. Reheat and mix well for 1-2 minutes.

  6. Remove from the heat and let stand for 2 minutes.

  7. Add sauce to pasta, stir and serve.


  • 1 frying pan


As a garnish, cut the recipe in half and serve with meat and vegetables for a different meal. Double or triple mix to use as a garnish at a barbecue or gathering. I recently tried this with San Remo Gluten Free Penne Pasta and I must say everyone loved it and no one could tell the difference.
