We eat salmon once a week at our house, and it is time for me to share another recipe… it was summer when I shared this tray of salmon with lemon and pepper!

I came back with another lemon salmon recipe, but this time, there is sauce involved … a sweet and flavorful honey and lemon garlic sauce, a little sesame oil and a little soy sauce.

And the best part is that the sauce thickens in the pan, so you don't have to prepare any extra dishes to thicken the sauce. Hooray for that!

Today's honey, lemon and salmon recipe pairs perfectly with Mann's Broccolini.

How to prepare this honey, lemon and salmon recipe

  • 4 5 oz salmon fillets
  • 12 ounces broccolini (2 packages of Mann broccolini)
  • olive oil
  • salt pepper

Honey and lemon sauce

  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (I prefer reduced sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch


  • Heat oven to 425 ° F.

  • Arrange the salmon and broccolini in a skillet. Brush the salmon with olive oil and mix the broccolini to cover it. Spice with salt and pepper.

  • Bake for 10 minutes.

  • While the salmon is baking, shake the sauce ingredients until smooth.

  • Sprinkle the salmon and broccolini with the sauce, return to the oven and roast.

  • Grill for 2-5 minutes … turn halfway. Watch out because all chickens are different and you don't want to burn them!

  • When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the oven and drizzle over salmon and broccolini.

  • Serve over rice with sesame seeds and green onion.
