A simple recipe for honey, lemon, and salmon baked in a pan with broccolini. Serve over rice and drizzle with the honey and lemon sauce. Makes a great lunch of preparing food.

We eat salmon once a week at our house, and it is time for me to share another recipe… it was summer when I shared this tray of salmon with lemon and pepper!

I came back with another lemon salmon recipe, but this time, there is sauce involved … a sweet and flavorful honey and lemon garlic sauce, a little sesame oil and a little soy sauce.

And the best part is that the sauce thickens in the pan, so you don't have to prepare any extra dishes to thicken the sauce. Hooray for that!

Don't forget to pin this recipe to save it for later!

Today's honey, lemon and salmon recipe pairs perfectly with Mann's Broccolini.

Mann introduced Broccolini to North America 20 years ago (Happy Birthday Broccolini!) With the help of the Sakata Seed Company.

What is broccolini? It's slightly sweeter and more tender than broccoli, and it was amazingly good with the honey and lemon flavors in this recipe!

How to prepare this honey, lemon and salmon recipe

  • brush the salmon fillets and mix the broccolini with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper, then bake
  • While the salmon is baking, prepare the honey and lemon sauce
  • Sprinkle the salmon and broccolini with the honey-lemon sauce, then return to the oven to roast. Don't forget to turn the pan halfway through the roast so it doesn't burn on one side!
  • That's. Her sauce will thicken (you can take it even farther than I do in the video if you want it thicker!), And it's perfect for sprinkling on your salmon and broccolini

We enjoyed our salmon with lemon honey and the broccolini served over rice, placing all the sauce from the pan on top. He also made a great lunch of food preparation!

A great way to mix up my chicken and vegetarian food preparation lunch routine.

Enjoy!

Preparation time 10 minutes

Cook time 15 minutes

Total time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 5 oz salmon fillets
  • 12 ounces broccolini (2 packages of Mann broccolini)
  • olive oil
  • salt pepper

Honey and lemon sauce

  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (I prefer reduced sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 425 ° F.

  • Arrange the salmon and broccolini in a skillet. Brush the salmon with olive oil and mix the broccolini to cover it. Spice with salt and pepper.

  • Bake for 10 minutes.

  • While the salmon is baking, shake the sauce ingredients until smooth.

  • Sprinkle the salmon and broccolini with the sauce, return to the oven and roast.

  • Grill for 2-5 minutes … turn halfway. Watch out because all chickens are different and you don't want to burn them!

  • When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the oven and drizzle over salmon and broccolini.

  • Serve over rice with sesame seeds and green onion.

Notes

Be sure to wash the pan quickly after eating; It becomes difficult to clean after a rest time. Nutritional information excludes side dishes and rice.
