How to Roast Sweet Potatoes

To get perfectly roasted cubes, there are a few key steps to success. Here we'll explain to you how to do it:

  1. Peel or not peel the potatoes, it's up to you. Either way it works with this recipe, making it just a personal preference. If you want a little more nutrients, leave the skin on. If you want a consistent texture, remove the skin.
  2. Cut the potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes. Try cutting them all to the same size so they roast evenly. Then place the cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure there is space between them.
  3. Mix the sweet potatoes in oil and seasonings. A couple of tablespoons of avocado oil (or olive oil) will give the potatoes we crave. And a small shake of salty spices like cumin, paprika, and garlic powder take them to the next level.
  4. Roasted at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes In half, throw the cubes so that all sides are cooked evenly.
