List of ingredients for the preparation of garlic and garlic prawn flour

  • 1/2 pound (200 g) shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup raw quinoa
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 fresh ginger knob, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper, optional (or any hot sauce you like, such as Sriracha)
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste

The sauce

  • A handful of cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped coriander

The sauce

  • 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of cumin
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


one) Prepare the quinoa as indicated on the package and reserve.

two) Combine the sauce ingredients in a salad bowl and set aside.

3) In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil and add the garlic and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes, then add the shrimp, cumin, and cayenne pepper, and cook for 3 minutes on each side until well cooked. Season with black pepper and deglaze with lemon juice, remove from the pan and set aside.

4) To make the dressing, mix together the lime juice, Greek yogurt, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper. Divide it into small airtight containers to transport the food preparation boxes.

5) In food preparation containers, divide shrimp, quinoa, and sauce. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy!
