We love smoothies around here. It's one of our not-so-secret healthy tricks for replacing one meal a day with a nutritious smoothie.

Especially when I cook oatmeal cookies and Snickerdoodles all the time! 😀

We generally use green smoothies as it is easy to add a few handfuls of spinach to any flavored smoothie without changing the flavor (tropical green smoothie is the favorite).

But recently I started experimenting with other vegetables. So today, instead of a green smoothie, I bring you an orange smoothie!

Carrots are the star of this show. Sweetened with orange and pineapple juice, which perfectly complements carrots, it has an excellent citrus cream.

We always add Greek yogurt and oatmeal to our breakfast smoothies.

Added protein and fiber fill them up enough to keep you full and full of energy until your next meal.

Of course, the beauty of smoothies is that they are easy to customize for various tastes and diets.

Do you need it without dairy? Put the yogurt aside.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup sliced ​​carrots
