  • 200 grams of cooked octopus
  • 450 grams of tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 squirt of tabasco
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch of sweet paprika
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 jet of cognac
  • 500 milliliters of fish stock
  • 1 jet of extra virgin olive oil

To prepare our octopus in spicy American sauce we will start splitting the octopus that we will have bought cooked to facilitate the recipe, but if you prefer you can cook it at home. We reserve.


We continue with the spicy American sauce and for this we peel garlic and onion and slice the garlic and chop the onion very finely. We paint a pan with olive oil and put the garlic. After giving it a few turns and being careful not to burn it, add the onion and cook it.


While we peel the tomatoes and break them into small cubes. Add them to the pan together with the fish stock, wine and cognac and cook until reduced.
