Classic nachos are hard to beat, but swapping out french fries and uncooked toppings, this nacho bar with fries is the next level!

I once ordered nachos with fries at a southern barbecue restaurant and thought it was a very unique idea. I couldn't wait to try it at home.

For those of you who know me, know that I am obsessed with cheesy and gooey nachos. I love to organize parties and create a nacho bar. This nacho bar is very different and, to be honest, it is much easier. It is a cold nacho bar, similar to a salsa bar, without the need to bake these nachos.

I chose ingredients that are extremely cold, making this nacho bar the perfect idea for a Cinco de Mayo party indoors or outdoors.

Instead of using traditional corn tortilla chips, I stocked the bar with boiled potato chips: avocado, chili, lime, avocado oil, tropical sauce, green chili, and jalapeño (which is my favorite with Mexican cream or sour cream).

The best thing about a nacho bar is enjoying it: you don't have to get caught cooking in the kitchen. Once the nacho bar is set up, you can have a beer or a cactus margarita, sit back, relax and eat.
