Mini Donut Muffins

We made these Donut Mini cupcakes for the first day of school and the kids are already begging me to make them again. I am not a very -, but this was a success!

The children devoured them and my whole family thought they were in heaven with this butter … sugar … delight!

Bring lots of wonderful mementos from state and carnival fairs and order a bucket of cinnamon sugar donuts. They were served hot and you could hardly wait to try those delicious donuts.

They are so fast and easy that you can serve them for a busy breakfast during the week. However, they are delicious enough to serve a special brunch over the weekend.

Everyone always goes crazy for these cupcakes. You really don't need anything else, but they are amazing served with bacon and fresh fruit.

You will need mini muffin tins to make these old-fashioned donut muffins.

Make sure you have a mini muffin tin on hand to make these delicious muffins. This muffin tin reminds me of a donut hole and we love having bite-sized muffins.

My skillet is Wilton and it works great, but only use what you prefer or already have.

Another tip for these delicious Cinnamon Mini Muffins is to use a cookie spoon.

This is totally optional but makes it much easier. I highly recommend using a spoon of cookies. You'll thank me later because it saves a lot of time getting the muffins out.

They are very inexpensive and generally come in a set with different sizes. That's very useful for other recipes and we use ours frequently.

Amazon has some very cheap spoonfuls of cookies. I have the three pack so I can use them for cookies, cupcakes, muffins and even meatballs.

Ingredients for Mini Donut Muffins:

    • 1/2 cup of sugar
    • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  5. While the muffins are baking, melt the butter and place them in a bowl. These really freeze very well. Once they are completely cold, you can place them in a gallon freezer bag. Put in the freezer.

In the morning just take out what you want and heat them in the microwave. You have a special homemade breakfast without any extra work!
