mango mousse

Ingredients

  • 2 large handles
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sifted pure icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 300 ml thick whipped cream

Method

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes.

  2. Mix with the lemon juice and the icing sugar.

  3. Pour into a glass container.

  4. Dissolve the gelatin in the hot water. Add to mango mixture and mix well.

  5. Fold the whipped cream, mixing well.

  6. Chill until ready.

Equipment

  • 1 bowl

Notes

You can place the mixture in individual serving glasses. I top the mousse with extra chopped mango and passion fruit.
