- 1 iceberg lettuce
- grated celery
- 90 grams of pitted green olives
- 1 green apple
- 250 grams of feta cheese
- 1 handful of sultanas raisins
- 1 handful of walnuts, peeled
- 1 handful of pumpkin, sunflower and pine nut seeds
- 1 handful of croutons
- 1 jet of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 squirt vinegar
- 1 pinch of salt
Steps to follow to make this recipe: 1
We cut the lettuce, we wash it with plenty of water, we centrifuge and reserve. If we do not have a centrifuge we leave it in a drainer.
On the other hand, we wash the appleWe remove the tail and the heart and break it into pieces keeping the skin. We put it in a wide bowl to continue with the preparation of the lettuce salad with seeds and walnut.
We break the feta cheese diced and add it to the salad bowl. If we prefer, we can use another cheese.
Drained grated celery and olives and we incorporate them into the salad where we have the rest of the ingredients.
Trick: I don't put celery because I don't usually weigh it but I estimate that I add about 50-60 grams to this salad.
We add the lettuce well drained and put a handful of raisins and another of salad seeds (in my case pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and pine nuts).
We season with a drizzle of vinegar, olive oil and salt and move well so that the ingredients are mixed and perfectly seasoned.
Before serving, we break a few nuts and top them with a handful of croutons. This way we avoid softening and seed salad with walnut is perfect. Bon Appetite!
