Lentil Bolognese Recipe

Is lentil bolognese that I have shared with RecetasGratis is a healthy and vegan alternative to the famous traditional Italian sauce. The result is a vegan lentil bolognese that is excellent and also, these legumes provide the necessary proteins and nutrients to the dish without products of animal origin.

  • 1½ cups cooked lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup of crushed tomato
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 teaspoonful of oregano

Steps to follow to make this recipe: 1

Cut the onion and carrot in medium pieces. Put the vegetables in the mixer glass and mash them well.


Add half of the lentils and continue grinding until there is a homogeneous paste of legumes.


Transfer the lentil paste to a hot pan and sauté a little. Add the other half of the lentils, salt, pepper and oregano, stir well and cook the vegan Bolognese sauce for several minutes.


Add the crushed tomato and wine and cook the lentil bolognese sauce several more minutes stirring often so that it does not stick to the pan and so that the wine is reduced.
