This recipe will leave you open-mouthed, because I'm going to teach you how to prepare a vegetarian / vegan chicken substitute just using ingredients of plant origin. The basis of the recipe of the homemade vegan chicken are chickpeas and wheat gluten, therefore, our preparation will have a large amount of healthy vegetable protein without cholesterol.
This vegetable chicken is very tender and soft with a texture very similar to the meat of the bird. - 300 grams of cooked chickpeas
- 225 milliliters of vegetable broth (1 cup)

Cook the vegetable meat wrapped in a pot with the lid half covered in water over medium heat for 1 hour or in a steam machine for 2 hours.
