This time I propose a very healthy fish dish, a stew of hake with potatoes, my version of the traditional Galician hake with potatoes. A simple dish, with a lot of flavor and that is almost steamed. As the hake is so soft, the touch of sweet or spicy paprika gives it a lot of flavor and we are left with a healthy and complete dish. Ideal for preparing a dinner.

- 4 slices of hake
- 3 potatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 jet of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sweet or spicy paprika dessert
- 1 glass of water
- 1 pinch of salt
Steps to follow to make this recipe: 1
First we will cut the rolled garlic.
We cut the potatoes thinly sliced.
We salted the hake on both sides.
In a saucepan we put a good jet of oil over medium heat, and we put the rolled garlic.
When it starts to take color add the paprikaIt can be sweet or spicy, or a mixture of the two. We remove immediately so that the paprika does not burn and add the glass of water.
We put the potatoes at the base of the casserole and let cook about 10 minutes. That when pricking the potatoes are almost tender.
We put the pieces of hake on top of the potatoesWe cover the casserole with a lid and let cook about 10 more minutes. With the help of a spoon we are putting a little of the sauce on the hake stewed with potatoes.
Trick: If you want the hake stew with potatoes to be more liquid, add more water or fish broth.
After this time, we look to see if the hake is cooked. We turn off and we put in a source.
We put the potatoes, on top the hake slices and on top the remaining sauce. Sprinkle a little more paprika on the plate. And smooth the stew of hake with potatoes to eat!
