  • 1 sheet thawed Pampas lite puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 2 large cored apples, peeled, quartered
  • 1 oil spray


  1. Preheat the oven to conventional 200 ° C or fan-forced 180 ° C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Combine lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a large bowl. Cut each quarter apple into 5-6 slices and place as you go through the lemon mixture. Cut a 24 cm circle from the puff pastry sheet and place it on the prepared tray. Arrange the apple slices on top (leaving the syrup in a bowl), overlapping slightly and leaving a 3 cm border. Fold the dough back, pinching to seal. Sprinkle the apple and dough with the remaining sugar and drizzle with oil. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and fluffy and apples begin to color.

  3. Serve warm.
