Elvis RITZwiches – peanut butter, banana and chocolate on RITZ cookies! An easy snack idea!

Let me tell you that being sick is not funny! I don't get sick often, but when I do, it's usually pretty bad. I have spent the past two weeks trying to find some kind of medication to help me feel better (thanks, Mucinex!) And I have spent most of my time getting in and out of sleep. I did my best to keep my Facebook page up and running, but I didn't do much else during the time I was sick. While I haven't fully recovered (I still have a little cough), I feel much better than I did a few days ago! So it's time to go back to this blog and get some posts!

If you are like me, you don't want to eat too much when you don't feel well. It just doesn't rank high on the priority list. I have almost survived the last two weeks with biscuits and chicken broth … and at this point, I'm a little sick of both! Give me some real food!

However, my two younger children somehow think that eating cookies is a fun diet and that they would often want to grab a bite when eating. While eating simple cookies, they are used to cookies with "things" in them, like these Elvis RITZwiches. I knew that once I felt better, I needed to share them with all of you. Not that they really require a recipe per se, but my younger kids loved the fact that it was something they could do on their own without my help! They enjoy these Elvis RITZwiches as a snack every now and then and I love that we always have the ingredients on hand.
