There are days when you don't want to spend the morning in front of the stove, do you?

Sometimes I am a little tired of cooking, although we need to eat every day. So for those days, having a portion of the recipe prepared and stored in the refrigerator is a lifesaver.

So this is not even a recipe. The real recipe is the delicious fresh tomato sauce I made the other day.

You can prepare the sauce ahead of time, and when you're hungry for lunch, just add a little pasta in boiling salted water, cook for 10 minutes, drain and add sauce and bam, voila!

This pasta in fresh tomato sauce is really easy to make. When you have the sauce made beforehand, there really is nothing to do.

And you can always keep it in the fridge (or even in winter if you're feeling adventurous) and reheat it when needed.

Easy pasta in fresh tomato sauce {Vegan}

Performance: 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes Time to cook: 15 minutes Total time: 20 minutes

The recipe for this vegan, dairy-free pasta in fresh tomato sauce is quick and easy, perfect for a summer day.


  • 200 grams of penne pasta
  • 1.5 cup tomato sauce
  • fresh basil leaves
  • cherry tomatoes at first


  1. Get tomato sauce you made using this recipe.
  2. Bring a pot of water to boil. Season with salt, then add pasta and cook according to package directions. When cooked al dente, drain (save 0.5 cups of pasta water) and return the pasta to the pot. Add the tomato sauce and a little pasta water and heat it, stirring and mixing the sauce with the pasta.
  3. Serve topped with chopped basil leaves and some cherry tomatoes. Optionally, add some grated Parmesan cheese or a vegan alternative.
