Easy Frozen Fruit Skewers with Chocolate Drizzle
- PREP 1hr 15mins
- TOTAL 1 hour 15 minutes
Grab this simple snack for the kids or serve them all on a hot summer day.
Make 6 skewers
1 pound fresh pineapple, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 pint of strawberries, cut in half
2 whole bananas, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3 whole kiwis, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 bottle (7.25 ounces) chocolate topping that forms a hard shell, often called a "magic shell"
12 bamboo skewers (8 inches)
Thread the fruit by alternating fruit varieties on bamboo skewers, using approximately 2 pieces of each fruit per skewer.
Lay the fruit kabobs in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Freeze at least 1 hour or until fruit is frozen.
Just before serving, drizzle each skewer with chocolate icing and return to the freezer until ready to serve.
