Easy cream dip with lemon and herbs

This creamy and fresh sauce is perfect for a vegetable dish. I especially love it with radish and cucumber. It also works as a salad dressing. Put your favorite vegetables in a bowl, add a little lemon juice and a pinch of olive oil on top, then sprinkle a tablespoon of this creamy herb sauce on top. Oh, and I probably don't need to tell you that it's a great addition to pork or chicken.

Easy cream dip with lemon and herbs

The drop will improve over time, so doing this one day in advance is not a problem at all. Just keep it covered and stored in the refrigerator.

Makes about 1 cup

Will need

1 (8 ounce) container creme fraîche

1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons minced fresh dill

2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Addresses

    Stir the fresh cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, and chives in a bowl until well blended. Season with 1/8 teaspoon of salt and a little pepper. Try and adjust with more salt / pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
