So, this barbecue chicken pizza recipe came up for 2 reasons. First, I LOVE BBQ pizza. I will ALWAYS order a barbecue pizza over a traditional pizza any day if I see it on the menu. And second, when I make my slow-cooked barbecue chicken, I always have it left over and this is my favorite way to use it. I use a store-made pizza dough for this pizza, making it incredibly quick and easy to make. And you can complete it with whatever you want!
OXO recently sent me some goodies and I used them to make this recipe and OH OH it made things easier !!
First was the non-stick pizza tray. I have no idea how I lived without a non-stick pizza tray. I put this sticky pizza dough in the pan, pressed it, and it slipped right away!
After covering the crust with the olive oil and salt, I baked it a little bit before adding the ingredients to make sure it was crispy at the bottom. No one likes the soaked pizza crust!
OXO also sent me this amazing set of grids and slices and I'm in love! I used it to cut my insanely thin onions and also to grate the cheese.
After the pizza dough is precooked, you can go ahead and cover it with all the ingredients! I went in this order, sauce, barbecue chicken, onion, corn, cheese, more sauce.

After topping, it is baked again for 20-25 minutes until perfectly melted and the crust is crisp and your house smells amazing.
Oh and BONUS! OXO also sent me a new pizza cutter! It's for non-stick pans! Metal cutters will totally ruin a nonstick skillet, so be sure to pick one of these plastic pizza cutters!
Easy BBQ Chicken Pizza
- 1 store-bought pizza crust
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1.5 cups precooked barbecue chicken
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup corn (frozen is fine)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (or more!)
- fresh coriander for garnish (optional)
Preheat your oven to 425.
- Take your pre-made pizza dough and spread it on your pizza pan. I use this OXO and it is amazing. Literally nothing sticks to it! I just use my hands and spread it out as close to the edges as possible. It doesn't need to be perfect.
Brush the crust with the olive oil, then sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and bake the crust for 6-8 minutes. (Only until it starts to rise and swell)
Once your crust comes out of the oven, add your BBQ sauce and spread it evenly everywhere. (I leave about an inch around the outside to get a crispy crust)
- Top with your barbecue chicken. HERE IS THE LINK for my super easy barbecue chicken recipe!
Then cover with the corn and onions and finally the cheese. I like to sprinkle some additional BBQ sauce on top before baking as well. You can get over it however you want!
Bake for another 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crisp. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before eating and ENJOY!
