Easy Apricot Chicken

  • 1 1/2 kg of chicken thigh fillets
  • 420 g apricot juice
  • 420 g canned apricot, halved
  • 45 g French onion soup mix


  1. Spray the pan with oil. Partially cook chicken.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the nectar and the French onion soup.

  3. When the chicken is partially cooked, add the nectar, boil for a couple of minutes, and then simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. Remove from the pan and place in a saucepan. Pour the apricots and cook in a moderate oven for 1 hour. Serve with rice.

I like to cook dishes that only have a few ingredients. It is a cheap meal for people like me on a low budget. You will be pleasantly surprised by how tasty it is. Use any piece of chicken. I used apricot nectar.
