- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper or a pinch
- 1 1/4 cup spicy cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add milk a small amount at a time, whisking gently after each addition.
Add the onion powder and white pepper.
Continue cooking over medium heat, whisking continuously until slightly thick.
Remove from the heat, and add the cheeses. Stir until melted.
