- 250 ml of low fat cream
- 2 cooked bacon slices
- 1 small finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese
- 1 pinch of pepper * to taste
Remove the rind and fat from the cooked bacon.
Tap with a paper towel to remove excess oil and finely chop.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve with crackers and carrot sticks and celery.
I have found that the flavor develops best if done the day before. I use cheddar cheese because it is always in the fridge.
