Quick and easy sparkling cranberry cocktail with cranberry juice, orange liqueur and sparkling wine. Jump into the Sparkling Cranberry Cocktail or read on for our tips for making it.
We don't like that our cocktails are too sweet. We use dry sparkling wine and let the orange liqueur and cranberry juice sweeten the drink very lightly.
Look for a moderately priced champagne or dry sparkling wine. Typically, we'll spend $ 15 to $ 20. The most classic option is to use Champagne, but an American sparkling wine may work instead if you're having trouble finding something appropriate. Cava from Spain or dry Prosecco from Italy are also good options.
Cranberry juice is perfect for this, but pomegranate or cranberry juice mix would work well, too. To make a perfect sparkling cocktail, add the juice and liquor first, then fill the glass with champagne or sparkling wine. In this way, the drink is mixed while pouring.
