Drain the chickpeas from the canning liquid, rinse them and put them in a bowl. Mash the cooked chickpeas with the help of a fork or a potato mashing tool.
We add the sweet corn, salt, pepper and the rest of the spices and continue crushing. The corn is not pureed, so nothing happens if the whole grains remain. The important thing is that the chickpeas do dissolve well to form consistent vegetable burgers.
We incorporate the flour and we form the mass. You will see that there is a compact mass to be able to handle it well with your hands.
We divide the dough into 4 servings, we give an oval shape and squash them a little. Look at the image to form your corn and chickpea burgers.
We cook the chickpea burgers for 3 minutes on each side. For this, it is important to first put the pan to heat with a little oil. And if we like more cooked, we can leave them until they acquire the desired cooking point.
You can accompany the corn and chickpea burgers with a little vegan mayonnaise. And for another occasion, write down the recipe for vegetarian rice burgers or vegetarian lentil burgers.
