Cinnamon Cookie Balls

I've been on a serious carb kick lately. A cheese kick too. Also, sugar. Oh, and bacon.

These "kicks" of mine have lasted about 10 years. Huh Maybe I should see a doctor about this?

These biscuit balls aren't filled with cheese or bacon, but they're deliciously carby with the perfect touch of sugar. Well it's just a pinch of sugar if you don't drown these balls in caramel like my kids did. I preferred the slightly sweetened version, but the kids had to do with covering all the candy and then dripping the candy all over the dining room.

Children are messy.

These balls are delicious.

Yes, I just said that the balls are delicious. Grow.

Or don't do it. I laughed a little bit about that too.

These would make a perfect breakfast treat with some fresh fruit on the side, but they're also delicious snacks when dipped in hot caramel sauce.

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • 4 4 tablespoons divided sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Caramel ice cream topping to dip, optional

  2. Mix half the sugar with the cinnamon in a small bowl.

  3. Mix the remaining ingredients in a stand mixer until a smooth dough forms.

  4. Scoop out dough and roll into a ball.

  5. Roll each ball into the cinnamon sugar mixture and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm, with or without caramel sauce.
