Eeek! I still haven't bought all my presses! Almost there, there are only a couple of small gifts left, but I guess I'll have to face the crowds today.
Maybe everyone in Congleton will be more organized than I am, and they'll shop, so I'll have the stores for myself …
However, judging from my quick trip to the supermarket yesterday, where I had to stand in line to park in the mass parking lot and then stand in line to leave, I don't have much hope!
I can't wait to spend some time with my family for the next few days.I have some recipes scheduled to come out, including a great way to use the leftover turkey on boxing day and a nice New Years Eve drink that you can serve along with this festive drink.
Other than that, I intend to watch old Christmas movies with Chris and the kids, steal chocolate from Mom and Dad's Christmas tree, and hug my new niece (born Monday is the cutest and smallest thing).
I have my new frozen Neff American refrigerator installed, which is large enough to hold my punch large enough, so I will prepare this drink in advance, ready for when we have guests over Christmas.

To make this amazing Christmas punch you will need:
The recipe for Christmas Day punch:
Christmas Punch – A lovely fruity punch with prosecco for adults. A great way to keep your guests' drinks full!
- 2 liters of cranberry juice
- 700 ml of pomegranate juice: I used Pom juice for a stronger flavor
- 500 ml clementine juice (use orange juice if you can't find clementine juice)
- Juice of 2 limes
- 3 limes, sliced
- 3 clementines, sliced
- 100 g of fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 pomegranate seeds
- 1 bottle of prosecco
- 300 ml of vodka
- Small cluster of mint leaves
United Kingdom (metric) – ** Convert to US measurements USA **
Pour cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, clementine juice, and the juice of 2 limes into a large bowl and stir. Add the lime wedges, clementine wedges, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds. If you are doing the punch ahead, you can cover it up and put it in the fridge at this point for 2-3 hours.
When you're ready to serve, add ice to the punch, then pour in the prosecco and vodka. Stir and sprinkle over fresh mint leaves.
