Chocolate slice

  • 1 cup of yeast flour
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 125 g of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder optional

Ice formation

  • 3/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 50g margarine
  • 2 tablespoons hot water


  1. Mix all the base ingredients until well combined.

  2. Press into a canned slice.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes at 180C.

  4. Remove from oven and let cool.

  5. Make chocolate frosting using desired amounts of ingredients and spread on base.


A few drops of mint can be added to the chocolate frosting to make the mint frosting.
