I made these cookies for the Great Food Blogger cookie exchange. It was the first time I participated and it was a lot of fun! I loved receiving cookies from other wonderful food bloggers! Mmm!

One of my all-time favorite Christmas cookies is Trader Joe's Peppermint Joe-Joe's. We make a special trip to Atlanta after Thanksgiving just to load Peppermint Joe-Joes. They are so good! These cookies reminded me a lot of Peppermint Joe Joe's. The best part is that these cookies are super easy to make! They don't even require an oven!

Let me give you a tip to easily crush candy canes. Unwrap a box of candy canes, toss them into your food processor, and leave them for about 15-20 seconds. You'll get finely crushed candy canes for under a dollar! A word of warning: don't open the food processor lid right away. Give it a minute for all the candy cane dust to settle. Otherwise, you will smell candy canes for days! 🙂
