These chicken pan chicken fajitas They are made with just 5 ingredients in just 30 minutes. A quick and easy dinner recipe that the whole family will love!

I don't know what I would do without pan dinners. They are a lifesaver on busy week nights and make dinner time much less stressful. This is one of our favorite skillet foods, as well as sausages and greens and chicken and balsamic greens.

So I know I've mentioned this before, but my family loves Mexican food. We do it once a week and go out to our favorite Mexican restaurant once a month. My husband always orders fajitas and they usually give me tacos. We love to do both at home. It is also much cheaper and healthier. But sometimes it is also good to go out. Mainly for the chips and salsa. I can not get enough. 🙂

This chicken fajita recipe is really very easy to make and takes no time at all. If you line up your pan with foil beforehand, you will have very few dishes. What I love about them is that everything is cooked in a pan. Aren't they the best pan dinners? They save my sanity on busy week nights.

Only 5 ingredients!

Chicken: You will need about 1 pound of chicken breast, cut into strips. I used 2 big breasts.

Peppers: I use a mix of red, green and yellow peppers. Feel free to use the pepper color you prefer.

Fajita seasoning: To make it easier, I use store-bought fajita condiments… however you can make your own, too.

Petroleum: The oil helps the seasoning adhere to the chicken and vegetables. I use about 2 tablespoons.

Tortillas: We normally use flour tortillas, but corn tortillas also work very well.

How to make pan fajitas in the oven

PREPARE. Preheat oven to 415 ° F and cover your baking sheet with aluminum foil. This helps make cleaning much easier! Add the vegetables to the pan and bake for 3-5 minutes while cutting the chicken.

TO BAKE. Remove the pan from the oven and add the sliced chicken. Drizzle olive oil on top and sprinkle with seasoning. Mix to cover. Bake for 20-25 minutes (stirring halfway), until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

TO SERVE. Enjoy inside an omelette, on a bed of rice or on top of a salad. Add your favorite ingredients and dig deeper!
