Cherry Cream Cheese Crescent Ring

This creamy cream cheese and cherry ring is super simple and tastes amazing. If you are feeding a massive breakfast or even a dessert, this Danish ring will work perfectly. Since this ring uses store-bought growing dough, it can be whipped in no time.

During the holidays, I am always eager to prepare a breakfast that feeds a crowd. I shared our Easy Breakfast Braid with you a few weeks ago. It also uses store-bought growing dough and is very easy to make. My husband loved my Biscuits and Gravy Casserole that I made for him last week. This creamy cherry cream cheese ring is super easy, looks good and tastes good too. I like that he makes 16 slices of dough to serve my family and guests.

I used cherry cake filling in our growing ring, you can use strawberry, blueberry or any cake filling your heart desires. The fruit combined with the cream cheese filling works perfectly. The growing mass is very easy to work with and requires very little effort.

I made this growing ring to serve for breakfast, but I think it would make an excellent dessert as well. The sweet tart filling, the cream cheese mix and the sprinkled icing on top can make it suitable for anyone.

It only takes a few simple ingredients to make this ring simple yet pleasing to the eye. Take two purchased cans of growing rolls, a package of cream cheese, a can of pie filling, sugar, and vanilla. I had our ring in the oven in just a couple of minutes.

INGREDIENTS 2 cans of crescent rolls 8 oz. Softened cream cheese 21 oz. Cherry pie filling 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon milk

ADDRESSES Preheat oven to 350. Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Unroll the crescent mass and separate. In a pizza pan, place overlapping triangles with long, pointed ends facing out. So there is approximately a 6 ā€³ circle in the center of the pan. Spread the cherries over the lapped dough area. Spread tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture over the cherry filling. Fold the pointy ends of the half moons over the filling and pinch the lapped dough to seal. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Mix the powdered sugar and milk until a smooth frosting forms. Sprinkle frosting on the ring.
