This cheese ball recipe is made with peanut butter and chocolate chips for a sweet touch to cheese balls! Such a fun snack to serve party guests.

You may have already noticed that I like peanut butter.

I mean, it's not an addiction or anything. I can stop eating it whenever I want.

However, I have never wanted to stop eating it. In fact, I had a tablespoon of peanut butter for breakfast this morning.

When I stumbled upon this little gem from a recipe from The Girl Who Ate Everything, I knew that this ball of peanut butter and chocolate chip cheese would soon be mine. Totally delicious

My kids are pretty obsessed with this one and they order it regularly. I mean, it's a good after-school snack or a movie marathon snack. I would even choose this over my beloved popcorn while watching a movie. Okay, boys.

But, cheese balls really do have their moment at parties. And it's the holiday season which means it's the central party for most of us.

If you wanted to know how to make a cheese ball, this is the one to do. I also have a buffalo chicken cheese ball, if you want to try it. Maybe serve them both? That party would be a victory.

Anyway, I hope everyone will try this easy cheese ball recipe and let me know what they think. I have a feeling it will be a new favorite!

And, if you're a peanut butter lover like me, try my oatmeal chocolate chip peanut butter cookies and peanut butter pie! Pin it

This cheese ball recipe is made with peanut butter and chocolate chips for a sweet touch to cheese balls! Such a fun snack to serve party guests.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter not completely natural

  • 3 tablespoons full brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter chips

  • Graham Cracker Sticks, Plush Graham, Apple Slices, Nilla Wafers, for dipping

  1. Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and brown sugar in the mixer bowl.

  2. Spoon into a large piece of plastic wrap; Raise all four corners and twist tightly to form a ball.

  3. Freeze for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the cheese ball is firm enough to hold its shape. Place the peanut butter and chocolate chips on a plate. Remove the plastic wrap from the ball and roll it into the chocolate chips and peanut butter to completely cover it, pressing them into the ball if necessary.

  4. Place the ball on a serving plate; Cover and freeze 2 hours or until almost firm. (Can be prepared in advance. If frozen overnight, thaw at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes before serving.) Serve with Graham Cracker Sticks, Stuffed Graham, Nilla Wafers, or Apple Slices for dipping or spreading.
