This delicious Air Fryer cauliflower dough pizza will satisfy any pizza craving!
Hi everyone. I am Jack. Since we bought a deep fryer earlier this year, I've been playing around with some new recipes to share here. A family party. I'm also eating low carb (er), but I love (and miss) eating pizza.
So, with all that in mind, I came up with this delicious cauliflower crust cauliflower crust pizza.

In this recipe I have used the fryer in two ways. First, to help dry and drain the moisture out of the crushed cauliflower before turning it into a crust. Second, to cook the bread pizza.
I used a 3 inch deep, 1 inch deep skillet that fits our brand of air fryer. Not all fryers come with both sizes of pans, so you may need to purchase an accessory kit.
How do you make cauliflower pizza dough in the fryer?
First off, removing moisture from cauliflower is key to making a successful cauliflower pizza dough that is not soggy, regardless of the cooking method you use. I used the air fryer (which is really just a small convection oven) to facilitate this step.
You'll start by shredding the cauliflower using the large holes on a box grater. Next, pour the grated cauliflower into a 3-inch deep skillet that fits your air fryer, and "air fry" (bake) the strips to dry.
After that, pour the dried pieces of cauliflower onto a tea towel. Tighten well to remove the last remaining moisture.
In a bowl, I mixed the dried cauliflower with eggs, two types of cheese (mozzarella and parmesan), and seasonings, including basil and oregano. (Feel free to change seasonings if you prefer.)
Next, I poured the crust mixture into a 1-inch deep fryer pan that I first lined with round parchment paper.
I fried the crust in the air for about five minutes, then added my ingredients (our Easy No-Cook pizza sauce, plus cheese and cooked sliced sausages) and re-fried the pizza for another 5 minutes until ready.

Note: Process photos are included in the previous post.
3 cups grated raw cauliflower (use large holes on box grater)
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 fresh Italian sausages
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 ¼ cups grated mozzarella cheese, divided
2 medium eggs or a jumbo egg
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ cup of your favorite pizza sauce, divided (here's our easy no-cook recipe)
¼ cup shredded minced cheddar cheese, divided
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F and have a 3 ”high round insert ready.
Spray skillet with skillet spray and add grated raw cauliflower.
Place the grated cauliflower in the pan and with a fork, stir it a little so that it does not stay pressed on the bottom.
Fry the air at that high temperature for five minutes, remove it and stir it, then put it back in for another five minutes. Repeat the shake and air fry for five more minutes, a total of 15 minutes *.
Pour the cooked cauliflower onto a tea towel or cheesecloth and turn and squeeze to squeeze out as much water as possible. It really squeezes hard to get out every last drop.
Place in a medium bowl with salt, pepper, Parmesan, ¼ cup mozzarella, eggs, basil, and oregano and mix to combine.
* While the cauliflower is cooking and drying, add the olive oil and sausages in a small skillet over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes on all four sides. Remove to a cutting board and once cold, cut into 7 slices each, a total of 14 pieces.
Take a one-inch skillet and spray the bottom. Then take a round parchment and make a small indentation at four corners and press on the pan and then spray the top. The grooves are for folding and snapping into the pan.
Press half of the cauliflower mixture into the skillet and place it in a 400 degree F preheated air fryer for five minutes.
Lift up the pizza peel by grasping the edges of the parchment, and then apply a new parchment with more spray and the remaining cauliflower mixture.
Place the second pizza peel and fry again for five minutes. Leave the fryer at 400 degrees F and leave this last pizza shell in the pan and parchment after cooking for the five minutes.
Divide the slices of sauce, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, and sausages between the two pizza shells.
Place the one in the pan in the fryer for 4-5 minutes. Remove once browned and melted and lift the pizza over the parchment and place the second pizza for another 4-5 minutes.
Remove, slice and serve immediately.
