Growing up, my dad had a small bowl of cinnamon sugar on the cinnamon toast counter. I used to think that cinnamon toast was just a buttered toast sprinkled with a little cinnamon sugar. Delicious, but nothing to write home about.

Enter the best cinnamon toast.

It's not just about bread with a pinch of cinnamon sugar on top: it's a cinnamon toast where each piece is smeared with cinnamon sugar butter and caramelized to perfection. The perfect breakfast for any occasion!

The magic of this gluten-free cinnamon toast is in the method. You mix it smeared with cinnamon sugar and then you spread it on the bread.

Then bake the slices for 10 minutes so that the cinnamon sugar soaks through each slice and finish the toast by caramelizing it for one minute under the grill. Each slice is golden, crispy, and delicious. True cinnamon toast heaven!
