This colorful Raspberry Banana Smoothie is a vibrant dose of vegan and gluten-free vitamins!

Is anyone else excited for spring? We are sure!

This week we have been tending to our little garden, preparing it for planting. Although it only measures about 15 m2, it takes a couple of days and is not ready yet.

I wanted to enlarge the garden a bit, but throwing the grass to make room for the soil is not as easy as it sounds. It really takes a lot of effort, because I want to save as much land as possible.

Then, while digging the garden, the old wooden planks we have been using as the garden edge fell off, rotting. Maybe we have only been using them for about 4 years. But when we move into the house and start the garden, we use what we have in our hands to minimize costs. It was never a permanent solution anyway, as we still have to fix the entire yard. It is a slow process.

Unfortunately, when the rotting boards disintegrated, Mitja went on to buy some metal grass edges that we plan to install, as soon as the weather allows. And mow the overgrown grass.

Next on the agenda will be planting a few seedlings and tending to our fast growing strawberries.

Although the garden is small, there is plenty to do! But I still love having it as it provides us with fresh homegrown produce most of the year. Even in dead winter, I could still pick fresh herbs!

So while I wait for our own strawberries and raspberries to grow, here is a vibrant Raspberry Banana Smoothie Bowl, made in just 2 minutes with 4 ingredients! So simple, but visually stunning and with powerful flavors!

Simply put bananas, raspberries, strawberries, and a little plant-based milk in the blender, mix until thick and smooth, and serve!

Banana and Raspberry Smoothie Bowl {Vegan}

Performance: 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes Total time: 5 minutes

This colorful Raspberry Banana Smoothie is a vibrant dose of vegan and gluten-free vitamins!

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk

Ingredients (optional):

  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Mint leaves
  • Quinoa puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas, wash and dry the berries.
  2. Place the bananas, raspberries, strawberries, and almond milk in a blender, and mix on high until smooth and thick. Depending on your taste, you can add water to dilute the smoothie, but you want it thick enough for a smoothie bowl.
  3. Pour smoothie into bowls and top with ingredients to your liking. Add a couple of raspberries and strawberries, some coconut flakes and quinoa puffs and garnish with a couple of mint leaves. To serve.

You can also fill the smoothie bowl with superfoods just like we did. We add 1 teaspoon of Malinca's MSM and camu camu beauty mix to each of the smoothie bowls, but that's totally optional.
