We gather the ingredients to prepare our fruit smoothie. As you can see, I have used ripe bananas to make this recipe, in fact, ripe bananas are much sweeter than those that are less black, so if you use bananas with this aspect, you will not need to sweeten the drink with sugar or sweeteners.
We peel and cut the banana into slicesAlthough everything is going to liquefy, I prefer to chop the fruit a little to avoid lumps and to help the blender to do its job better.
Banana is one of the most consumed fruits in the world, they provide us with a lot of vitamins, they are rich in fiber and do not contain any fat. When you have fruit in the pantry that is very ripe, don't forget that you can always make juices, smoothies or a banana cake!
We do the same with kiwi, peel and cut the fruit and we add it in the glass of the blender. I have used yellow kiwis that are juicier, but you can use the classic green kiwi.
For its part, kiwi is a fruit rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C, it also has relaxing properties and is known to reduce stress and nerves.
We add a little water and a splash of lemon.
I always add a little lemon juice to all the fruit smoothies I make, the lemon acid helps bring out the fruit flavors. If you want, you can also add chia seeds or goyi berries to the smoothie.
We crush everything a few minutes until it is completely liquid, without any lumps. The amount of water is to taste, I prefer thicker smoothies but if you like more liquids you can add a little more water to taste.
You can also make this smoothie with milk, yogurt, green tea, or chamomile for a relaxing drink.
