Pineapple and Ham Cheese Ball is an excellent pre-made snack that is perfect for using leftover Easter and Thanksgiving ham. Ham and pineapple make a great combination with the salinity of the ham and the sweetness of the pineapple. The entire cheese ball is covered in crunchy chopped nuts.
This ball of ham and pineapple cheese can be mixed in about 5 minutes. It is a simple mixture of cream cheese, a little cheddar cheese, seasoned salt, pineapple and finely chopped ham.
Shape it into a ball and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Make sure it is tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. Then roll it into chopped walnuts just before serving.
I love spreading on Wheat Thins, but this spread cheese goes great with any cookie or even bagel or pita chips.
I'm a fan of a savory and savory snack that has a little bit of sweetness and this pineapple and ham ball with cheese really qualifies.
