Pasta is one of the most versatile ingredients in the kitchen and also one of the most accepted on the table since few people resist it. In RecetasGratis I share one of my favorite recipes that combines ingredients typical of various countries in the Mediterranean basin to create a delicious and irresistible dish. Based on the classic recipe for spaghetti with tomato and sausages that we all ate when we were little, I suggest this recipe for baked spaghetti with tomato, feta cheese and fresh sausages chicken that is not complicated and full of flavors.

- 150 grams of spaghetti
- 400 grams of fresh chicken sausages
- 4 large ripe tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 250 grams of feta cheese
- 30 grams of grated cheese for gratin
- 1 jet of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of smoked sweet paprika
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic
Steps to follow to make this recipe: 1
We start by putting water to heat in a saucepan. When it starts to boil add the spaghetti and cook until al dente (cooked but firm without being excessively soft). Drain and reserve.
While the pasta is being made we begin to prepare the tomato sauce. For this we peel the onion and chop it very finely. We put a frying pan with a splash of olive oil on the fire, add the onion and cook.
We peel and chop the garlic cloves and add them to the pan together with the onion. Peel and chop the tomatoes and also put them in the pan. Stir well and leave on the fire.
Add the paprika, salt to taste and a little pepper. Mix well and let cook until the sauce of the baked spaghetti au gratin is done. We reserve
In a frying pan we put a few drops of oil and take it to the fire. We put the sausages fresh chicken and we make them on the grill. We withdraw and reserve.
Trick: We can also make them in the pan instead of on the grill, and they can be pork, beef, turkey or mixed.
In the pan where we have prepared the sauce of the oven-baked pasta with sausages (if it is large enough or, failing that, in a wider pan) add the pasta and mix well with the sauce over low heat.
We cut the fried sausages into pieces, add them to the pan and stir. We let cook a few minutes. While we split the diced feta cheese.
Pour half of the spaghetti with tomato in an ovenproof dish and place half of the feta cheese cubes on top. Then we put the rest of the pasta and place the rest of the feta cheese and a little grated cheese to gratin.
We introduce the baked spaghetti with tomato, feta cheese and fresh sausages (preheated to 180 ºC) and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Bon Appetite!
