Start with a store bought spirally sliced ham. The spirally sliced hams are already fully cooked, but must be seasoned and heated without drying the ham. For the recipe, discard the seasoning package that comes with the ham. We will make our own delicious homemade ham glaze!
Wrap the ham tightly in aluminum foil and follow the directions on the package to heat the ham.
Once the ham is hot, remove the foil cover and prepare the glaze.
I like to use whole nails when I can to secure the decorative pineapples and use a toothpick for the most difficult areas. Use the long, pointed end of all the cloves and press them against the pineapple until it is secured to the ham.

Use toothpicks for cherries and for pineapple slices on the sides of the ham.
Combine brown sugar, mustard, and pineapple juice as needed to make a thick glaze. Then take care of putting the frosting all over the place and in between the coiled ham slices.
Bake for another 30 minutes, then remove from oven.
Replace the extra juices between the slices.
Slice and serve, making sure to remove the toothpicks before cutting them.
