- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 cup white rice
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sultanas
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon * to serve
In a saucepan, gradually heat the milk over low heat.
Add the sugar, rice and salt.
Simmer uncovered 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Get away from the heat.
Add the cream, vanilla, and sultanas.
Pour into serving plates.
Cool down to room temperature.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
A beautiful creamy pudding. Eaten hot, it is perfect for winter.
