How to make bacon paste?

Boil the spaghetti. Drain the water and set aside. In the same pot, add oil and cook the bacon. When almost cooked, add garlic and red chili flakes and sauté until garlic is golden brown and bacon is fully cooked and crisp. Add boiled spaghetti, salt, pepper, lemon juice and mix everything together and serve.

Creamy bacon paste

Make this super creamy paste by mixing 1/2 cup of cream cheese at the end. That makes it similar to bacon carbonara pasta, which is creamier.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Spaghetti

  • 10 Strips Rough Bacon, chopped

  • 4 4 teaspoon Oil

  • 4 4 tablespoon Garlic Finely chopped

  • 3/4 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes Optional

Instructions

  1. Boil the spaghetti in salted water, according to the package directions. Keep aside.

  2. In the same nonstick pot, add 1 teaspoon of oil and heat over medium heat. Cook the bacon until almost cooked.

  3. Add 2 teaspoons of oil, garlic, red chili flakes and cook for a few minutes until the garlic is browned and the bacon is crisp.

  4. Add boiled spaghetti, lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix everything. Enjoy!
