The crispy apple slices are drizzled with sticky, melted peanut butter and then topped with a handful of walnuts and just a pinch of chocolate and coconut to make these irresistible Apple Nachos. My children turned to this gift and talked about it for a couple of days.

Several years ago, I heard someone mention apple nachos and suddenly I had a picture of apple slices sprinkled with peanut butter dancing in my head. I googled ā€œapple nachosā€ and stumbled upon a beautiful photo of apple nachos in Allyson Kramer. I could not resist making a version of them for my children that same day.

Apple snacks

Apple Nachos has become a favorite snack and evening dessert in recent years. Knowing how much we enjoyed them, it shouldn't have surprised me that my entire family loved these Green Apple Sā€™mores at last year's family camp.

How to make apple nachos

Making Apple Nachos is as easy a snack as you can make. Melt the peanut butter in the microwave until smooth and runny. Thinly slice the apples and spread the pieces on a large plate. Sprinkle the melted peanut butter on the slices. Sprinkle on the ingredients of your choice and start eating!
