A simple smoothie is also the perfect remedy for a busy weekend. We attended a local food bloggers gathering and it was just great to meet all the amazing people behind the great blogs we read on a daily basis. So many incredible talents!

So while we think about all the wonderful things we learned and think of ways to improve our blog, we charge our batteries with – food, of course ­čÖé While it is still fall, we are getting the first puffs of winter, cold and snowÔÇŽ and While we don't particularly like it, we anticipate comforting winter foods and spices in the upcoming holiday month ­čÖé

Apple and Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 2-3 apples
  • 180 g of yogurt
  • a little water as needed
  • handful of rolled oats
  • 2 simple cookies
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • a pinch of pomegranate seeds to decorate

Instructions

  1. Peel the fruit, then dice and put in the blender. Add yogurt, a little water as needed (depending on how thick you want your smoothie), rolled oats, and a cookie. Mix until smooth.
  2. Pour into mason jars, sprinkle with cinnamon, sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top, and place half of the remaining cookie in each jar to decorate. To serve.
